decorations for all themes Striving for a multi-sensory experience A dramatic entrance is the first requirement, with lights on, but nobody home, except maybe some spooky housemates peering through the windows. A morbid greeter at the door is a nice touch, to direct guests into the home. Maybe a dark-robed figure, extending a glove filled with sawdust. Keep furnishings sparse, removing furniture, rolling up carpets, and taking down curtains. Don't overdo the black and orange color scheme, as an ashen palette can be much more effective. Remove live plants and flowers, replacing them with sophisticated arrangements of dried flowers and stripped branches, maybe adding a few black silk roses to the grouping. |
